Dr. Rebecca Lin
Rebecca Lin is a veterinarian specialist in Miami FL who is proud of her accomplishments. She holds a DVM from Cornell University, a BA in French from Rice University, and has completed a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists.
Although she is not from Florida, she was raised in Maryland and moved to Miami with her husband, a local artist. Shaina and her family are devoted animal lovers who share a home with a bearded dragon and three cats. Besides being a vet, she has also been an artist and a public educator at a sea turtle rescue in south Florida.
The best part is, she loves what she does. Aside from her many years in the veterinary field, she has had the pleasure of watching her patients’ lives improve with good medicine. This has allowed her to see what is possible with a little extra time and effort.

Dr. Marco Ruffato
Marco Ruffato, DVM is a veterinary anesthesiologist. He has a knack for making high-risk veterinary patients feel better using a combination of veterinary medical acupuncture, judicious use of analgesics, and pain management. His practice is located in Miami.

Patrick graduated from University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She completed a one-year internship at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida. In 2010, she began practicing internal medicine in Florida, focusing on the treatment of small animals. Her passion for animal health and safety is evident in her work.
After her graduation, she went on to complete a 3-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. This included an internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Tampa, FL.
Before her time at PBVS, she worked at general and emergency practice in South Florida. In addition to her veterinary career, she has served as the treasurer of the Collier County Veterinary Society.
Other areas of interest include soft tissue surgery, ultrasound medicine, and critical care. She has also worked with government research groups, completing studies related to the health of marine mammals.

Dr. Jessie Hatfield
Jessie Hatfield, DVM is a veterinarian specialist in Miami FL who enjoys the sun and the sand. She has worked in emergency care and has had an interest in imaging. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging. In addition, she has an interest in traveling and nature photography.
Before she attended veterinary school, she received a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado College. After her studies, she went to Texas A&M University to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While at Texas A&M, she completed her equine surgical internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital.
Upon graduation, she went on to complete a one-year internship at Animal Medical Center in New York. She then went on to complete an oncology residency through Louisiana State University. Afterwards, she stayed on as a Clinical Instructor in Oncology at Louisiana State University.
In addition to her work as a veterinarian, she is very active in the community and is an author of a weekly column for the Palm Beach Post. She has a passion for traveling, and she enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs and five cats.
